The trade separates the old lost-wax or sand-cast pieces (รูปหล่อโบราณ) from later die-struck three-dimensional ones (รูปหล่อปั๊ม), and holds Luang Pho Ngoen of Wat Bang Khlan as the reference lineage for the old form. Today most temples issue a cast figure of their own master with a code and serial, sold in the same batches as the medallion.
