Tai Tham is the script Lanna used for Pali and its palm-leaf scriptures, so the north wrote its yantra in it rather than in Khom. Thai Wikipedia's เลขยันต์ has candle yantras as the region's commonest form and its cloth yantras larger than elsewhere. Thaification in the 1930s pushed the script out of schools, but monks kept reading it and it is being relearned; the yantra never stopped being written.
