The mass pressed into it lists powder from various votive tablets, dried flowers from garlands presented to the King, strands of the royal hair, flowers from the regalia, soil and herbs from the Buddhist sites of India and Sri Lanka, sacred material from every Thai province, and water from the auspicious sources used at the coronation. The King pressed each piece himself, often late into the evening. Forty small pieces were made for the royal children; the rest went out with a certificate naming recipient, date and number.
