พ.ศ. ๒๔๕๖ เปิดกรุพระปรางค์ พบลานทองจารึกภาษามคธอักษรขอมพร้อมพระพิมพ์ วงการเล่าว่าจารึกกล่าวถึงฤๅษีผู้สร้างและอานุภาพ ตรียัมปวายจัดเข้าชุดเบญจภาคีราว พ.ศ. ๒๔๙๐
In 1913 the prang at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat was opened and a gold plate inscribed in Pali in Khom script came out with the tablets; the trade holds that the inscription names hermits as makers and promises protection, but that text is not cited here. Thai Wikipedia dates the tablets to the U Thong period. Triyampavai's set of around 1947 placed it among the five.
