ตำรา ๖๙๘๓ (หน้า ๙๗) ให้สูตรเพื่อเมตตามหานิยมต่อขุนนางท้าวพระยาและสมณะพราหมณ์: ลงใบลาน ๕ ใบ ใบละคาถา เผาเป็นสมุก ผสมขี้รัก ปั้นเป็นลูกประคำ ๕ ลูก ลงนะโมพุทธายะลูกละอักขระ เสก ๑๐๘ คาบ ผูกเอวเมื่อไปหาขุนนาง สูตรนี้เป็นประคำ ไม่ใช่พระพิมพ์ แต่เนื้อคือเนื้อเดียวกัน คำศัพท์วัสดุของคลังเรียกผงใบลานว่าตะเข็บระหว่างสองคลัง — คัมภีร์ที่ถูกเผาแล้วกลับมาเป็นวัตถุบูชา
Manuscript 6983 (p. 97) gives the material its recipe, for favour before nobles, commanders, monks and brahmins: inscribe five palm leaves, one stanza per leaf, burn them to a black ash, mix with lac scrapings and roll into five prayer-beads; inscribe one syllable of Namo Phutthaya on each and empower it 108 times; tie the beads at the waist when going before a lord. That is a bead recipe, not a tablet, but the paste is the same paste. The vault's material axis calls phong bai lan the seam between the two corpora made literal — scripture consumed and re-embodied as an object of veneration. The tablet form is a temple issue; which temples, and when, this record cannot name.
