A Hariphunchai fired-earth tablet from the cache at Wat Phra Khong Ruesi in Lamphun, the stockier twin of the พระรอด: a seated Buddha under bodhi leaves. The name คง (endure) is why the trade reads it as a คงกระพัน amulet.

The wat's legend has Queen Chamadevi build it where the hermit Vasudeva sketched the city plan with his staff, with hermit figures at the four gates. Its stupas held fired-earth tablets in black and red, and a restoration that opened the chedis turned up พระคง and พระบาง in quantity. The trade groups it with the other Lamphun cache finds and prices it well below the พระรอด.
