Figures of the nats, the spirit-deities venerated in Myanmar alongside Buddhism: the 37 Great Nats headed by Thagyamin (Sakka), Mahagiri the house nat, and Bo Bo Gyi the guardian of each pagoda, kept in shrines at home, in shops and at pagodas. A deva-tier being venerated through the object — worship, not necromancy.
